In this talk, we'll discuss how to adapt your writing style to be most effective in educating others. We'll give practical examples and common examples seen over hundreds of technical content reviews.
In this talk, Viktoriya will share a bit of her own experience of taking extended time off work, what it did for her career development, and the different ways to take a break. The talk will offer some practical insight into how and when to ask for a timeout as well as how to return to work successfully.
Owen is autistic and hugely interested in how we can make the web a more accessible and inclusive place. Join us as we talk about some common considerations when designing websites to be neurodivergent friendly. We'll look at why it's important to think about these problems and how to approach web design with an open mind. A personal and thought provoking introduction to this deep and interesting topic.

Owen is a Senior Software Engineer working for Microsoft (currently part of the GitHub Accessibility Team). Previously part of npm and before that part of App Center Test Cloud. He's autistic and proud, and his passions include: learning about autism, watching Star Trek, his cats & stand-up comedy.
Viktoriya Agova (she/her)
Viktoriya is a writer, marketer and adventurer. She spent 6 years in tech startups, building brands from the ground up and launching new products in domestic and international markets. Viktoriya enjoys playing sport and getting involved in grassroots projects, having coached a women's basketball team and having organized remote polling stations for her country's elections. She often talks about the challenges and rewards of navigating career and life as both a millennial and a generalist, and in her own words is "still connecting the dots" (but aren't we all).
